Want a luxurious pamper, but feeling the stress from the purse/ wallet? These DIY tips for a home-made luxury pamper should do wonders for your skin and hair, especially nearing your wedding day. The best part, it works for both guys and girls.

Hot Oil Treatment

The results are smooth silky hair with a new luster onto it.

1. Warm 2 ounces of Olive oil.
2. Apply to hair ends and wherever dry area on your hair.
3. Comb through hair.
4. Cover hair with towel for 15 minutes.
5. After that, shampoo and rinse hair.

4-Steps Soak bath

The guaranteed treatment for soft, clear skin; but you will need to have a bathtub at home to do it. And don’t forget the body scrubs and sponges.

  1. Soak
    • Fill the bathtub with warm water (comfortable to your liking). Then, just sit in there for 15 minutes, while you read/ listen to the radio/ watch short film on MP4.
  2. Scrub
    • Soap up your body scrub/ sponge and scrub everywhere: hands, arms, back, legs, feet etc. Work up a good lather to get your circulation going.
  3. Moisturize
    • Drain out all the water and add fresh water. Smooth some baby oil or bath oil over your whole body. A few tablespoons may do. Then, sit back and soak for another 10 minutes.
  4. Rinse
    • After you’ve done steps 1-3, drain all water away and finally get a shower and shampoo.

Facial Mask Treatment

They are the best and hassle-free answer to rejuvenate facial skin. You can either buy ready-packed masks from the mall and pharmacy, or you can use homemade ones.

  1. Apply mask onto face. Smooth in circles and massage gently around face, but avoid eye areas. If it’s a peel-off mask, just leave it on face. Leave on for 15-20 minutes.
  2. After that, rinse off with clean water and dry with towel.

For those who like homemade treatments, here is a recipe for a rejuvenating and exfoliating facial mask.

Ingredients:
4 tablespoon pumpkin puree
2 figs
1 teaspoon green tea
4 teaspoons cornmeal
2 teaspoons aloe vera gel
1 teaspoon jojoba oil

  1. Puree figs in blender, then mix in green tea. Blend till smooth.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix in the pumpkin and aloe vera gel to 2 tablespoons of the fig-green tea puree. Mix, then stir in cornmeal and jojoba oil. Stir until even.
  3. Refrigerate the mask mixture. It can last up to a week.
